1. St. Louis University
St. Louis University is not new to recognitions as it is one of the leading institutions in Baguio and is recognized as a CHED Center of Development for most of its programs. For the past three years, the university continues to join the list of top performing schools for Pharmacy Licensure Examination. SLU recently ranked 1st in the August 2018 board, having a passing rate of 98.69%.
2. Mariano Marcos State University – Batac
Throughout the years, the Mariano Marcos State University has produced a number of top placers in the Pharmacy Licensure Examinations. It is also known in Ilocos Region for its wide range of programs in various fields including Medicine, Law, Agriculture, Aquatic Science, Arts and Sciences, Engineering, Teacher Education, Industrial Technology, and Business offered for students.
3. Our Lady of Fatima University
Our Lady of Fatima University’s BS Pharmacy program is recognized as a Center of Development by the Commission on Higher Education. Since 2007, it has been one of the leading schools for Pharmacy in the country, having a high percentage of board passers yearly, as well as topnotchers.
4. University of the Philippines – Manila
Widely known as a premier institution for health sciences education, the University of the Philippines – Manila houses the colleges of Dentistry, Public Health, Pharmacy, and Nursing. It made recent feats in the Pharmacy Licensure Examination by garnering a 100% passing rate on the March 2017 and March 2018 boards. 5. University of Santo Tomas
The University of Santo Tomas is the only university in the country to have a CHED Center of Excellence recognition for its Pharmacy program. Founded in 1871, the school’s Faculty of Pharmacy offers degree programs in BS Clinical Pharmacy (5 years), BS Pharmacy (4 years), Medical Technology, and Biochemistry.
6. University of San Carlos
Consistently proving its excellence in board performances, the University of San Carlos ranked second in the August 2018 PLE with a passing rate of 96.72%. It’s alumna, Danixzyle S. Cutamora, also bested thousands of other examinees and placed 8th (90.88%).
7. San Pedro College – Davao
The San Pedro College – Davao is a private higher education institution in Davao City. Its programs on Pharmacy, Psychology, Pharmacy, and Medical Technology has been granted with a Level II status by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA). In the June 2016 Pharmacy Licensure Examination, SPC is the only university to have reached the passing rate (88.14%) set by the Professional Regulation Commission (with 50 or more examinees and with at least 80% passing percentage).
8. University of San Agustin
The College of Health and Allied Medical Professions of the University of San Agustin is home to a number of board topnotchers. Its recent feats include Stella Rowse Gustilo and Jea Belle Anuales Jinon who ranked 4th and 6th in the March 2017 PLE.
9. Centro Escolar University
One of the top providers of licensed pharmacists in the country, CEU’s School of Pharmacy is an ASEAN University Network quality assessment certified. It also has a Level IV accreditation from PACUCOA. The institution provides complete degree programs in Pharmacy from BS Pharmacy, BS Pharmacy Specialized in Clinical Pharmacy, MS Pharmacy, to Doctor of Pharmacy, and Ph. D. in Pharmacy.
10. Adamson University
Adamson University’s College of Pharmacy provides students with both theoretical and applied lessons through its modern facilities which include Pharmacy Instrumentation Laboratory, Simulation room, Pharmaceutical Science Laboratory, and Botanical Garden.
