List of PLE 2018 Passers Released

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results for the Physician Licensure Examinations, noting that 3,717 out of 4,542 examinees passed the exam.

Held last September and October 2018 in a myriad of cities around the country, the licensure examination was led by chairman Dr. Eleanor J. Galvez, along with Dr. Edgardo T. Fernando, Dr. Eleanor B. Almoro, Dr. Ma. Graciela Garayblas-Gonzaga and Dr. Clarita C. Maaño, members of the Board of Medicine.

Kurt Eduvas Jamora, a student from De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, earned the highest grade out of the batch at 91.08 percent.

Aside from Jamora, a number of successful examinees have also been noted by the PRC for landing ten (10) of the highest places in the September 2018 Physician Licensure Examination:

Cebu Institute of Medicine garnered the most number of medical board passers with a passing rate of 99.33 percent, while the University of Santo Tomas and University of the Philippines-Manila followed suit with a 98.71 percent and 98.59 percent passing rate, respectively.

PRC also listed the top performing schools in the September 2018 Physician Licensure Examination:

Check out the list for the full results of the board passers.

Successful examinees may start registering for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificates of Registration online, starting from November 19 to December 7, 2018.

Applicants are also advised to personally register in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

According to PRC, the date and venue for the board passers’ oath-taking ceremony will be announced at a later date.
