TESDA Schools You Can Find in Davao

Anybody who’s familiar with Mindanao can attest that the city of Davao is bustling with life for a reason.

Known as a center for commercialism in the southern part of the Philippines, Davao is surrounded by urban life, which makes it a fresh source of learning in the country. With different schools popping up at every corner, any aspiring pilot or doctor would find it difficult to get lost with the options they can take.

So if you live in Mindanao and need to a technical-vocational lesson or two, then why travel to Manila for an education when Davao already has Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) schools that you can check out!

TESDA is the country’s leading authority on technical-vocational education, where they evaluate each student’s ability to use a certain skill and certify them as practitioners of that craft after completing a course for a certain number of hours.

But instead of diplomas, finishing a course earns you a National Certificate, which gives you the license to practice a certain technical skill on a professional basis. For example, if you intend to work as a barber for a living, enrolling in a TESDA course to learn the skill and having yourself certified are necessary before you can even apply for employment.

So where exactly in Davao can you find these TESDA schools? Here are some that you can enroll, along with the courses that they offer:
