Tips To Stay Focused During Distance Learning
May 07, 2021
School bell is ringing, and it’s time to go back to your room.
It’s been more than a year since we’ve heard it. Crazy!
Who knew that would be the last day sitting next to your crush, or your last day walking around the corridor with your main squad.
We surely miss the face-to-face classes setup.
Education in the physical classroom versus online class has its differences. Many are still struggling to adapt the new learning methods. We now study from our own, facing laptops and cellphones, which means we need to deal with these countless distractions like a barking dog, blowing horns, and even the sound of the chicken from your neighborhood too!
Nobody said it is as easy as A-B-C.
Remember, everything begins at some level of difficulty. So carry on. Here are the tips that might help you be more focused during your distance learning sesh:
Maintain a routine:
Study and make it a habit. We know it is irresistible to wake up a minute before your school time while wearing your jammies, and open your laptop, viola! You are already in class, but even though you’re doing this online, you should remember that it is still necessary to maintain your usual routine, having it boosts your energy and helps you to be focused on your day-to-day agendas.
Organize your study space:
You must have a spot where you feel comfortable studying—not on your bed, darling! It should be a space where you can stay attentive. Take note not to place it at the side of your bed, temptations might just be around the corner, you might pick up your phone or laptop and lie down on your mattress instead. Make sure the space is free from distractions!
Keep a planner:
It makes you more organized on taking notes, important dates and reminds you to be on track in accomplishing your task list.
Use a study timer:
This might give you a little pressure at first, but it makes you more conscious on how you use your time. Also, with the help of your planner, it ensures that you can do your TikTok sesh on your desired schedule.
Dress up and open your Camera:
It’s a challenge to be active in class, if you are conscious of your look and background noise, it pushes you to stay on mute or just put your camera off. To have a good performance, you need to feel that you are in a real classroom setting. It makes you consciously aware of your class performance.
Hydrate and eat snacks:
It’s important to always drink your water, bhie! It moisturizes our skin, refuel your body with a glass of water and healthy snacks such as fruits and granola bars!
Ask questions and reach out:
We all have that nerve-racking feeling every time we speak or ask, but this is the best way to learn and adapt things by engaging. Do not hesitate to ask questions. Remember, you are a student, and your responsibility is to learn.
Get enough rest:
Prioritize your sleep. People function well if you’re getting enough rest that your body needs. Hello, 2021 na! Stop glamorizing overworking, stick to your bedtime every day, cut out screen time half an hour before bed. Try to have a warm shower at-least 1 or 2 hours before going to bed. This helps you fall asleep quickly.
Of course, don’t forget to complete your shower time with pH Care daily feminine wash. Now formulated with OdorProTech, it helps protect your intimate area against odor-causing bacteria, so you can cap off your day and wake up feeling clean, fresh, and odor-free down there!
