This would prepare students for high-skill work or paraprofessional employment in disciplines like accounting, building design, and engineering. Students may complete some advanced diploma courses at university level. Earning an advanced diploma in your preferred field may take around 18 months to 2 years of full-time study.

Vocational Graduate Certificate/Diploma. These are the equivalent of the higher education graduate certificate and diploma. Students who earn this are equipped with high-level employment-related skills and knowledge. A graduate certificate usually requires 6 months to 1 year of full-time study. Meanwhile, a graduate diploma usually takes 1 to 2 years of full-time study to accomplish.

Course Credit. If a student has an Australian VET qualification and the units match exactly with the units delivered, the student will be granted a Direct Credit Transfer.
