About the Scholarship

A partial scholarship grant granted by the Department of Science and Technology for underprivileged students yet excellent students who are part of the top 5% of their class. Students can enroll in degree programs in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strictly for Filipinos only
  • Open to Senior High School Students only
  • Any gender

Eligibility Requirements

  • Natural-born Filipino Citizen;
  • A poor, talented and deserving student who belongs to a family whose socio-economic status does not exceed the set values of certain indicators;
  • incoming regular College Freshman
  • Part of the top five percent (5%) of the non-STEM strand senior high school graduating class; or
  • Part of the STEM strand senior high school graduating class;
  • A resident of the municipality for the last 4 years as attested by the barangay chairman;
  • of good moral character and in good health; and
  • a qualifier of the 2019 S&T Scholarship Examination
