About the Scholarship

Only non-Filipino or Asian students may apply for this scholarship
S/He should possess the following qualifications:
  • Preferably between 25 to 40 years old.
  • Completed a Bachelor’s Degree
  • For those who intend to take a Master of Science in Social Work, they should have a degree in Bachelor of Science in Social Work.
  • With at least two years experience working with development organizations and/or institutions. This work experience should be reflected in the ASI Form 6-Application for Admission WORK EXPERIENCE (Start with the most recent experience).
  • The employer should give an employment certificate of the services rendered in the organization or institution.
  • In good health and condition.

  • Endorsement/recommendation by a sponsoring organization and/or previous institutions he/she worked with.
  • Two (2) letters of character reference. The names placed under REFERENCES in the ASI Form 6 should be the persons who will write the character reference addressed to: DR. MINA M. RAMIREZ, President, Asian Social Institute, 1518 Leon Guinto Street, Malate, Manila, Philippine.
