Course Description

This 16-week program sits on the fundamental pillars of food and beverage service beginning with the essentials of drink preparation and drink repertoire, to bar service, maintenance and production and finally to high-volume production of drinks for events. Also included are key sub-topics such as customer service; personality development; safety and sanitation; types of service; sequence of service; basic Flairtending *(see Short Courses); mixology; wine appreciation; coffee, tea and beer preparation and service; and outlet banquet operations. 


  • Sixteen (16) weeks inclusive of 500 hours internal OJT 
  • plus 300 hours external OJT 
  • Monday-Friday; Five (5) hours a day
