The Adamson School of Industrial Chemistry was founded by Dr. George Lucas Adamson in 1932. After many steps of expansion, first into a college and finally into a university, Adamson University was established on February 5, 1941. The institution has stayed in three different locations before settling at its now-home along San Marcelino street. The institution offered more programs, and was also gradually transformed into a Catholic institution under the C.M administration. In the 21st century, Adamson University saw itself gaining many achievements and earning accreditations, one being the prestigious ISO 9001:2008 Management Systems certification by TÜV Rheinland in January 2013.

Vision
Adamson University, a Catholic Vincentian educational institution, is a recognized leading center for quality education particularly for the socially disadvantaged.
