Admission Requirements - Foreign Students

Requirements

  • Accomplished Application Form with 2” x 2” picture recently taken
  • Form 138 from Senior High School (authenticated)
  • Transcript of Records/Scholastic Records (authenticated by Philippine Embassy in the country of origin (if transferee)
  • Good Moral Letter (from last school attended)
  • Recommendation Forms/Letters (from last school attended)
  • Personal History Statement with 2” x 2” picture (Forms may be downloaded)
  • Foreign Student’s Pledge  (notarized)
  • A grade point average (GPA) of C (2.50, 80-82%)
  • Diploma/Degree Certificate (authenticated)
  • Police Clearance Certificate issued by the National Police Authority in the country of origin or residence (authenticated)
  • NBI Clearance for applicants who graduated in the Philippines
  • Medical Health Exam Results (authenticated) for the following:
    • Urine
    • Stool
    • Chest X-ray
    • Malaria Smear
    • Venereal Disease Research Laboratory (VDRL)
  • Vaccination Certificate for polio and yellow fever
  • Birth Certificate (authenticated)
  • Certificate of No Objection (transferee)
  • Certificate of Eligibility to Transfer (transferee)
  • 2” x 2” picture (5 pcs.)
  • Copy of Marriage Certificate (if married) authenticated
  • Photocopy of Student’s Passport showing date and place of birth (authenticated by the Philippine Embassy in the country of origin)
  • Affidavit of Support (authenticated) or grant for institutional scholars
  • Bank Reference (authenticated ) not less than US$5,000.
  • Payment of Fees:
    • Application (US$175)
    • Testing
    • Identification Card (ID)
  • Financial Security Deposit (US$1,000) which could be withdrawn upon finishing the program or leaving the University permanently.
 An applicant is required to take entrance tests in Mathematics, English, and Psychological tests to be administered by the University Guidance Office.  If an applicant failed in the English test, he/she will be advised to enroll in English as a Second Language courses for one semester before he/she will be allowed to register in a regular class.

Additional Information for Foreign Students

In order for foreign students to have a pleasant stay in the country, the student must abide with the following instructions:
  • Upon arrival of the student in the Philippines, he/she is required to go to the National Quarantine Office for medical clearance.  Then he/she proceeds to the Office of the Bureau of Immigration (BI) for application for ACR I-Card.
  • The student is expected to be a full time student, not less than 15 units and should finish the course within the time specified in the approved curriculum.
  • All foreign students are expected to stay in the dormitory and eat at the University Cafeteria which serves vegetarian food only.  Married students with family must apply for student apartment.

Admission Requirements - Undergraduate

Requirements

Freshmen, Transferees and Scholars
  • Accomplished Application Form with 2” x 2” picture recently taken.
  • Original Form 138/High School Report Card
  • Photocopy of PSA Authenticated Birth Certificate
  • Photocopy of PSA Authenticated Marriage Certificate, (if married)
  • Payment of application, testing, ID and medical examination fees
  • Two Recommendation Letters/Forms filled up by (a) school principal/adviser, (b) district pastor/parish priest/barangay captain
  • Original Certification of Good Moral Character from the school last attended
  • Pictures:  5 copies (2” x 2”) recently taken
  • High school GPA of  85% and above for BSED/BEED/BSN applicants
  • Minimum GPA of 85% or 2.8 to be admitted to Dentistry Proper
  • Photocopy of high school diploma for BSN applicants
  • Certificate of Eligibility to Transfer from the last school attended (for transferees)
  • Certification of Grades/Transcript of Records (for evaluation purposes)
  • Certification from the principal that the applicant graduated valedictorian, salutatorian and first honorable mention from a class of 50 and above (for honor students)

Admission Requirements - Graduate School

Requirements

  • Accomplished Application Form with 2” x 2” picture with white background, recently taken.
  • Transcript of Records (2 certified true copies)
  • Certificate of Eligibility to Transfer – Applicable to students who graduated from colleges or universities or started graduate studies other than AUP. If graduated from AUP, an original TOR is required or must pay the fees for the new issuance.
  • Photocopy of PSA Authenticated Birth Certificate
  • Photocopy of PSA Authenticated Marriage Certificate (if married)
  • 2” x 2” Picture (2 pcs.)
  • Degree Certificate (2 certified true copies)
  • Payment for Application, Entrance Examination, and RFID fees
  • Recommendation Letters/Form (2 pcs.)

  • Certificate of Computer Literary

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma
  • Must be Second Year College for Program A (a total of 72 academic units)
  • Four (4) Passport size pictures
  • Transcript of Records (Program A only)
  • Birth Certificate

  • Pay Application Fee, ID and down payment

Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP) was founded in 1917 by Elder L.V. Finster which aimed at teaching the young Filipinos about the gospel. To meet the demands of its growing population, the institution added more infrastructures and programs.

Today, AUP offers Basic Education along with its Senior High School program. The university has nine (9) colleges for Arts and Humanities, Business, Dentistry, Education, Health, Medicine, Nursing, Science and Technology, and Theology. It also provides a graduate school for the College of Health.

AUP also received a five-year accreditation status by the International Board of Education-Adventist Accrediting Association (IBE-AAA), the denominational accrediting authority for all programs owned by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, located in Silver Spring, Maryland, USA.
