Apayao State College (ASC), formerly known as the Apayao Institute of Science and Technology (AIST), is a public educational institution located in Apayao. It has two campuses in the province: Conner (main campus) and
Luna (extension). Before becoming a Higher Education Institution, the school had its humble beginnings as the Conner Vocational High School (CVHS) in 1971. By 1998, AIST was converted into a chartered institution known as the Apayao State College through Republic Act 8563.
ASC currently offers
undergraduate programs in Agriculture, Forestry, Education, Business Administration, Information Technology and Civil Engineering. Also available is a
Senior High School (SHS) program that features Academic, Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL), Arts and Design, and Sports Tracks. These programs are recognized by the
Department of Education (DepEd) and the
Commission on Higher Education (CHEd).
