3-4 years

Course Description

The program provides a foundational core of graduate-level courses in Christian communication. Graduates will be equipped with traditional as well as advanced technological means to effectively communicate the gospel in the twenty-first century. The goal of M.A.C.C. program is to educate professionally trained and culturally sensitive Christian communicators for the mission of the church in Asia, the Pacific and beyond. Since the Bible and theology form the content to be communicated, these subjects are also required. Students will evidence expertise in one area of communication by developing a thesis (for media production concentration program, the thesis is in production format).

The Intercultural Communication concentration is for those students intending to become missionaries or otherwise to be engaged in intercultural ministries. It provides a balance of communication and missions courses.

Normally three years is required for the completion of the course leading to this degree, two years of course work and one year for the thesis. A candidate must complete a total of 48 hours. APNTS graduates in communication are working in such fields as video production, radio production, journalism, Christian music company promotion, and various Intercultural missions.
