What does Asian Institute of Management stand for?

The Asian Institute of Management (AIM) is an international management school in Makati City established in 1968 by a group of prominent business leaders, Philippine academic institutions, and the Harvard Business School. It aims to sustain the growth of Asian businesses and societies by developing professional, entrepreneurial, and socially responsible leaders and managers.

AIM boasts its leading-edge and practitioner-oriented management programs while using learning technologies that are responsive to diverse markets. It promotes excellent research practices and creates an environment of highly competitive faculty and staff. The Asian Institute of Management specializes in graduate business courses. There are two options that students can choose from: the degree and non-degree programs. Degree programs offered include Master in Business Administration, Executive Master in Business Administration, Master of Science in Innovation and Business, Master of Science in Data Science, Master in Entrepreneurship, and Master in Development Management. The non-degree programs, on the other hand, include the Executive Education Programs and the Development Education Programs.

Asian Institute of Management Facts:

  • Asian Institute of Management was selected by World Bank as its partner in Asia with the establishment of the AIM-World Bank Development Resource Center in October 2002. It is also the first private management education institution in the world to partner with the World Bank.
  • AIM is accredited by international organizations such as the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), Association of Asia-Pacific of Business Schools (AAPBS), and
    Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM). It is also the first Asian school to be a member of the International University Consortium for Executive Education (UNICON).
  • Asian Institute of Management was established in partnership with Harvard Business School.
