Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU) is a private academic and research institution in
Davao City. It was established in 1948 by the
Society of Jesus in the Philippines. Just like its sister schools, the university aims to provide excellent education and spiritual formation to its students through various courses and programs. In 2016, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) granted
deregulated and autonomous status to the university.
AdDU offers
undergraduate and graduate level programs in the following disciplines:
Social Science, Humanities, Teacher Education, Natural Science, Nursing, Engineering, Architecture, Computer Studies, Business, Accountancy, and Law. The school is also mandated by the government to implement the K to 12 basic education program. Its senior high school (SHS) program in particular currently offers the strands under the
Academic Track.
