The Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering Program celebrated its 40 years of producing outstanding graduates last August 2009. Among its alumni are captains of industry in the banking and finance, consulting, IT, consumer goods, and property development sectors. It has also produced leaders for the public and non-profit sectors, counting among its graduates cabinet secretaries, bishops, and heads of NGOs. ME alumni talk about their systems approach to analytical thinking and decision-making as key to their being effective managers who bring about tangible results to whatever sector they are in. For students contemplating on entering this program, I assure you that it requires a lot of hard work, and retention standards are demanding. This is, after all, an honors program. You will be exposed to teachers who will walk you through complex concepts and give you challenging problems to solve. Your classmates will come from the top tier of their high schools. These experiences build discipline and mental fortitude, and after completing the program, most graduates say that they are ready to take on anything. I look forward to seeing you sometime on campus
