Description


The Institute of Philippine Culture - Department of Sociology and Anthropology Scholarship Program for Young Filipino Social Science Professionals (IPC-DSA Scholarship Program), with funds from the Ford Foundation, offers support for academic and professional training in the graduate programs of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology of the Ateneo de Manila University. It aims to develop young Filipino social science professionals (preferably under 30 years of age) with the expertise to respond, with a sense of urgency, to the rapidly changing social and cultural landscapes that constitute the world in which we live.

Requirements


Eligibility: A Filipino citizen, preferably under 30 years of age, who:

  1. Is eager to pursue a degree in any of the following: 
    • MA Anthropology
    • MA Sociology 
    • MS in Social Development
  2. Can engage in full-time studies within a two-year period
  3. Has professional experience in social science-related work
  4. Passes all admission requirements of the Loyola Schools
  5. Looks forward to a career in social development
