Ph.D. in Science Education major in Mathematics is a post-graduate program designed to train and develop secondary and/or tertiary level teachers in Mathematics. They will be exposed to different trends and issues in Mathematics as a discipline and education. To obtain this degree, he or she must have completed 60 units consisting of core courses (18), major courses (30), and dissertation (12). He or she must also pass the comprehensive examination.
