Course Description

The Bachelor of Counselling will teach students the theoretical and practical skills students need to work as a counsellor in a range of professional fields. Students will develop skills to critically analyse different counselling and psychotherapy models and gain practical skills through extensive clinical fieldwork placements. Throughout the course, students will gain a strong understanding of self, the community, and society while learning what constitutes ethical practice. Graduates work in a range of counselling and human service careers, helping people address issues and challenges in their lives.
