Course Description

The Bachelor of Science (Environment) aims to prepare graduates who are ethical and concerned for the common good, and able to apply a broad and coherent body of knowledge to their professional work in the science arena. Students will undertake detailed study of a number of science disciplines – biology, chemistry, ecology and earth science each of which contributes to the field of environmental science, attaining theoretical knowledge and developing skills in both the laboratory and the field. The Bachelor of Science (Environment) includes community engagement and work integrated learning units in the final year, exposing students to potential careers for Environmental Science graduates and encouraging the development of work readiness. The Bachelor of Business Administration is a general business degree without specialisation in a particular subject area. The course is structured around 8 core units which are common to other undergraduate business courses and a further 4 units that will build your business knowledge in areas such as human resource management, marketing and management. Combining the Bachelor of Science (Environment) with the Bachelor of Business Administration will enable graduates to utilise their knowledge and skills in industry, the public service or in small business enterprises.
