Reqiurements
  • Copy of latest report card
  • Recommendation letter written by the guidance counselor from the applicant's previous school
  • Copy of NSO birth certificate


Procedures

Pre-school
  1. Submit all requirements and pay the testing fee (Php 1,200)
  2. Choose a testing date. A testing permit will then be issued.
  3. Scheduled Entrance Assessment (please bring Test Permit)
  4. Scheduled Parents’ interview with the Headmaster

Grade school and High school
  1. Submit all requirements and pay the testing fee (Php 1,200)
  2. Choose a testing date. A testing permit will then be issued
  3. Scheduled Entrance Assessment (please bring Test Permit)
  4. Scheduled Parents’ interview with the Headmaster

As part of the application process, parents of applicant will be scheduled for an interview. Both parents MUST be present during the interview. Please schedule an interview date with Teacher Therese.

Bannister Academy is a private, non-sectarian, secular and co-educational school offering basic education from preschool to high school. The school believes that any student who is willing to learn is capable of receiving Bannister education. The academic curriculum follows the triple approach of the Trivium - the three liberal arts of Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric.

Bannister Academy's main tool for teaching their students is the Paideia Principle. This is done by exposing the students to an education that is firmly grounded on the Humanities or Classical Education. The students will then be a able to see the best and worst of a person. They see through his/her actions in time (History), thoughts and desires immortalized in writing (Literature), and the creativity and greatness expressed in Art. These fields spread through all the disciplines taught in the school, whether they be of a liberal or practical nature.
