Bataan Heroes Memorial College (BHMC) is a private, higher educational institution in
Balanga, Bataan. It was founded in 1979 by Engr. Sesenio S. Rosales and Dr. Laureana S. Rosales, who wanted the school to be a monument for the heroes of Bataan that will, in turn, be an inspiration for the youth. BHMC is the fifth school to be established by the couple; this school system is now known as the
Capitol System of Schools that includes Capitol University, Capitol University Medical City, Iligan Capitol College, Gingoog City College, and Lyceum of Iligan Foundation.
BHMC currently offers undergraduate courses in
Accountancy, Entrepreneurship, Architecture, Engineering, Criminology, and
Information Technology. The institution also has a Senior High School (SHS) department, with the
STEM, HUMSS, and
ABM strands. Additionally,
technical-vocational courses in Computer System Servicing and Shielded Metal Arc Welding are available for those who are interested in training for these skills and earning their National Certificate (NC).
