The Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) is a public educational institution in
Bataan that was established in 2007 through the Republic Act 9403. It currently has a total of five (5) campuses in the province that are located in the municipalities of
Balanga,
Abucay,
Dinalupihan,
Orani, and
Bagac. All of these campuses are included in the
list of state universities and colleges that offer
free tuition for its undergraduate programs.
BPSU caters bachelors degree courses in the fields of
Engineering, Architecture, Education, Computer Studies, Industrial Technology, Tourism, Hospitality Management, Mass Communication, and
Medical-related programs
. It also offers t
echnical-vocational diploma courses, as well as
graduate and
post-graduate degrees.
The university is duly recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and it has three programs granted with Level 1 accreditation from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP). BPSU also continues to equip itself with postgraduate degree-holder faculty and employees to uphold academic excellence and produce quality graduates.
