Bataan Peninsula State University - Bagac (BPSU - Bagac)
is an extension campus of Bataan Peninsula State University
(BPSU) that resulted from the desire of its main campus to provide quality, but cheap education to its community people. It was established in 2008 as a four-room facility inside the Bagac (Central) Elementary School, then eventually transferred to a three-storey building adjacent to the National Power Corporation Resort Village. The campus was also tagged as the ‘Campus of Courage and Wisdom'
, which is derived from the town's patron saint, St. Catherine of Alexandria, the saint of the courageous and of the wise.
The campus offers undergraduate degree programs in Education
and Industrial Technology
. This includes a degree in Elementary Education
, and a degree in Industrial Technology
with majors in Welding and Fabrications Technology
and Electrical Technology
