Bataan Peninsula State University - Orani (BPSU - Orani) is a public educational institution under the
Bataan Peninsula State University system and was established in 1965. It was by the virtue of Republic Act 4468 that made the establishment of the campus possible. The campus was created to provide a curriculum that will educate its students on how to exploit and fabricate their raw materials and turn it into
standardized handicrafts. That is why the school was originally known as the Bataan National School for Filipino Craftsmen (BNSFC). The system provided a significant livelihood for the locals of Orani in terms of producing students into
handicraft producers. And it was in 1995 that the name of the school was changed to Bataan National School for Filipino Craftsmen (BNSFC) by the enactment of the Republic Act 7914.
