Benedicto College (BC) is a private non-sectarian school in
Mandaue City, Cebu. It was established in 2000 by businessman Francisco Benedicto. The founder's objective in building the school is to extend affordable education to everyone, especially to the underprivileged. The school is committed to being a globally competitive higher educational institution, which values research and innovation to continually develop its programs. Guided by this vision and mission, BC produces competent and service-oriented professionals who have a solid foundation on Christian values.
The college started out with a department in Information Technology, and now it has seven college units:
Computer Studies, Business Management, Engineering, Education, Arts and Sciences, Hospitality Management, and
Nursing. BC also has a Basic Education department, including a Senior High School program that was established in 2015. Interested SHS students can choose from a variety of strands from the
Academic and the
Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) tracks.
