Bohol Institute of Technology (BIT) was started in 1981 by Dionisio “Dioning” and Lilia Balite, and set up on a two-story ancestral house in
Tagbilaran, Bohol. In its first year, it offered a variety of technical-vocational courses. As more enrollees increased,
BIT Tagbilaran branched out into different locations in Bohol, with the school system eventually being renamed into
BIT International College. Through quality education, BIT-IC aspires to provide students with better opportunities in the future and to empower them to become involved members of the community.
BIT International College-Talibon offers programs at the Senior High School and undergraduate levels. The college has bachelor's degrees in the fields of
