Bohol Island State University – Balilihan (BISU - Balilihan) is a public university campus located in
Balilihan, Bohol. The school is one of the five (5) external campuses that comprise the
Bohol Island State University (BISU) system. The establishment of the campus was brought upon by the initiative of the Congressman of the First District, Hon. Edgar M. Chatto with an aim to provide a tertiary school in their locality.
Academic programs that are offered in Balilihan campus are mostly composed of
Technological courses. It offers degree programs in
Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Technology, Electronics Technology, and
Industrial Technology with majors in
Food and
Garments Technology. Significantly, these academic programs offered in Balilihan campus are duly recognized and accredited by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
