Bohol Island State University – Calape (BISU - Calape)
is a public university located in Calape, Bohol,
and is one of the campuses part of the Bohol Island State University (BISU)
system. The campus started out as a community college and was eventually converted into a polytechnic college in 1989 by the virtue of Republic Act 7370
The Calape campus houses eight (8) academic degree programs that are composed of undergraduate and technical-vocational courses. Its undergraduate programs include bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education, Secondary Education,
and Industrial Technology,
which all have Level II AACCUP accreditation
. While other programs include degrees in Fisheries
, and Computer Science,
have Level I accreditation.
The Calape campus is also offering TESDA-registered programs
which all have National Certificates. It includes technical-vocational courses in Health Care Services
which both have NC II.
