Cabalum Western College (CWC) is a private, higher educational institution in
Iloilo City. It was established in 1945 as the
National Business School offering courses in Typewriting, Stenography, and Bookkeeping. The school was renamed to
Cabalum Commercial School (CSS) in 1949. Not long after, CSS had a secondary commercial course covering first to the fourth year and was the first in Panay to offer such program. The school offered more technical and vocational courses through the years; and, in 1985 it opened a bachelor's degree course in Business Administration and consequently became Cabalum Western College.
CWC is known for its business and computer programs. Currently, the college offers undergraduate courses in
Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, and
Tourism and Hotel Management. The institution also provides the Senior High School program; available for SHS students are the
ABM, GAS, HE, and
ICT strands.
