Cagayan State University (CSU) is a public educational institution in
Cagayan. It was established under the Presidential Decree No. 1436 signed by former President Ferdinand Marcos on June 11, 1978, which led to the conversion of several of Cagayan’s colleges into a single university system. These colleges went on to become the eight campuses that make up CSU. The CSU branches include
Andrews (Main),
Aparri,
Carig,
Gonzaga,
Lal-lo,
Lasam,
Piat, and
Sanchez Mira.
CSU offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate studies. Students can choose from the following fields of study:
Allied Health and Sciences, Business, Entrepreneurship and Accountancy, Hospitality and Industry Management, Teacher Education, Criminal Justice Administration, Industrial Technology, Information and Computing Science, Public Administration, Engineering, Human Kinetics, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, and
Arts.
