Capiz State University - Dayao (CAPSU - Dayao) is one of the satellite campuses under the
Capiz State University system. Originally, the campus was a Fishery Department during the creation of Capiz Institute of Technology, but still remained as a fishery department until it was integrated in the Capiz State University system. The campus specializes in
fisheries, and comprises a land area of 11.9818 hectares in which, the fish pond comprises most of its area, while its buildings and facilities covers the minimal portion of it.
The campus offers four (4) bachelor degree programs including;
Fisheries, which is considered to be their flagship program,
Education, Criminology, and
Computer Science. Unlike the other campuses in the system, the Dayao campus do not have an extension program. However, with the large portion of fish pond, the campus excels in pursuing
organic bangus production.
