Carlos Hilado Memorial State College - Binalbagan (CHMSC - Binalbagan) is a public educational institution located in the province of
Negros Occidental. The campus is one of the four (4) educational institutions belonging in the
state college system.
The Binalbagan campus is the only campus in the college system that specializes in
Fishery and Fisheries Technology with majors in
Aquaculture, Fish Processing, Law Enforcement, and
Coastal Resource Management. Even its Business program focuses on
Fishery Business Management. While some of the other course include
Teacher Education programs, Information Technology, and
Criminology.
The campus aims to help poor but deserving students in the province, especially those who are in the coastal communities. It commits itself to improve the fishery industry by giving its students the proper training they needed in order to contribute for the development of the fishery business and fish processing technology in the province, and in the Philippines.
