The Cebu Reliable and Excellent Seafarers Training Center (CREST) was established in 2011 to provide basic, advanced, refresher and updating training for seafarers, and practical assessment for Deck and Engine ratings, serving both the domestic and international sectors. CREST brings outcome-based approach in training. Its staff are recognized by their functional and technical expertise combined with their hands-on experience, thereby ensuring that their students receive the most effective and professional training.
CREST is currently offering twenty-four STCW MARINA-Accredited Training Programs and Practical Assessment for Deck and Engine Ratings. The school also conforms to the Quality Management System standard: ISO 9001:2015 and has been the top training course provider in the field of Maritime in Central Visayas, being awarded in 2016 as the Maritime Training Center of the Year in Metro Cebu.
