Cebu Technological University - Daanbantayan (CTU - Daanbantayan) is an external campus under the Cebu Technological University system. The campus was formerly known as the Manuel A. Roxas School of Fisheries and was established in 1948. In addition, the campus is considered to be the oldest known fishery school in the country.
The campus became a national vocational school under the supervision of the Bureau of Public Schools by the passing of Republic Act 673 in 1951. This transition led to the moving of the campus site to Agujo, Daanbantayan and the transfer of supervision to the Bureau of Fisheries in 1952.
The courses that are offered in the CTU - Daanbantayan campus were Fisheries programs with majors in Aquaculture and Post-Harvest Technology. While some of the programs include Teacher Education programs, Hospitality Management, Information and Communications Technology, and Industrial Technology. Also, the campus offers certificate courses in Early Childhood Education, Professional Education, Automotive Servicing, and Electrical Installation and Maintenance.
These programs offered by the campus are recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
