Center for Asian Culinary Studies (CACS) was founded by Chef Gene Gonzalez in the year 2000 after he felt there was a need to professionalize his growing number of apprentice applicant in his restaurarant. Since 2005, CACS started to branch out. The first branch of CACS was established in Davao. In 2016, another branch operated in Pampanga.
As CACS progressed, its founder remained committed to provide reasonably priced quality and up to date culinary education for Filipinos. At the same time, CACS endeavors to serve as a hub in Asia for those who wish to study authentic Asian cuisines and methods. To pursue this end, CACS' faculty and students are constantly exposed to new techniques and developments in the culinary industry. Through this exposure, CACS hones a new generation of Filipino Global Chefs.
