As more students are juggling school and work, Central Colleges of the Philippines (CCP) will offer evening classes for working students starting the 1st semester, AY 2018-2019.

All colleges of CCP will have classes starting 6:30PM until 9:30PM from Monday to Friday. PE classes will be held on Saturdays, 4:00PM-6:00PM. This schedule will allow students to have work during regular business hours and have their classes after their work shifts.

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) estimated that about 8% of the total number of college students are working. CHED added that most of these students are workers in food service companies, entertainment and sales; and library and research assistants in different educational and corporate institutions.

“With the introduction of evening classes, CCP would like to help students in reaching their dreams of getting college degree programs in business, accountancy, psychology, hospitality and tourism management, architecture, information technology, computer science, education and engineering,” CCP President Atty. Crispino Reyes explained.

Enrollment for evening classes is on-going and classes will start on June 18, 2018.
