Christ the King College (CKC) is a private, Catholic school in
Gingoog, Misamis Oriental. It was started in 1947 to formalize Catholic education in the city. The school initially opened with a high school department, and only a year after, it offered Elementary Education for college students. In 1953, sisters from the
Religious of the Virgin Mary (RVM) began teaching religion and theology subjects to the students. Eventually, the RVM sisters managed the college, taking over the previous Jesuit administration.
At present, Christ the King College provides Basic Education and Higher Education programs. For Senior High School students, the available strands are
GAS, STEM, ABM, and
HUMSS. The college department offers various undergraduate courses in the areas of
Business Administration, Teacher Education, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, Health Sciences, and
Liberal Arts. Also available are
