    Yes. But these two additional years will equip you with skills that will better prepare you for the future, whether it be; Kolehiyo, Trabaho or Negosyo!

  • Requirements and Procedures

    UNDERGRADUATE/BACHELOR’S DEGREE PROGRAMS
    Requirements

    • A duly accomplished application form to signify an intent to formally enroll in the school
    • Three (3) "1X1 ID Picture
    • Letter of recommendation from a religious superior or bishop which certifies that the applicant is a member of a religious community or diocese and resides in a duly recognized canonically established formation house and states the name of the formation community where he lives, its location and the name/s of its resident formators
    • A photocopy of his college Transcript of Records, attesting to a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
    • For non-AB Philosophy graduates, a photocopy of at least 18 units of Philosophy of any six courses of 3 units each from among the following: (a) Epistemology (Philosophy of Knowledge); (b) History of Philosophy; (c) Philosophy of Being human (Philosophical; Anthropology); (d) Logic; (e) Philosophy of Ethics (Ethics); (f) Philosophy of Being (Ontology); (g) Contemporary Philosophers; (f) Philosophy of Nature (Cosmology); (i) Philosophy of God (Theodicy); and (h) Philosophy of Religion; and
    • If a foreigner, a photocopy of passport, ACR and missionary or student visa. Foreign students are required to present a degree equivalent in length and content to the four year AB college program in the Philippines. They should be sufficiently proficient in English and have a satisfactory background in philosophy and theology.

    Procedures
    For freshmen
    1. Students enroll the courses they will have to take after approval of the Academic Dean.
    2. Students write down the courses assigned to their year level as per the official schedule of courses posted in four copies of enrollment forms.
    3. The duly filled up copies of enrollment forms is submitted to the registrar's office for validation.
    4. A student with any unsettled obligation must obtain clearance from the Treasurer and other offices of the school before being allowed to register.

    For transferees
    1. After an evaluation interview with the Academic Dean, a transfer applicant submits the documentary requirements listed above.
    2. Transfer courses can be credited to a maximum of 50% of the total number of required units in MST, for the transfer student to be eligible for graduation.
    3. Only transfer courses with credit units and descriptions that are identical or comparable to GTP courses (except the synthesis courses) and with grades equivalent to at least 2.50 can be considered creditable.
    4. No transfer credit will be given to a course that has already been credited in a successful graduate program.

    For cross-enrollees
    1. Seminarians from other schools may cross-enroll in the GTP, provided they can present a letter from their Academic Deans permitting them and specifying the courses they will take. Cross-enrollees may take a maximum of 12 units of courses, on a credit or audit basis. They are not allowed, however, to cross-enroll in the Fourth Year courses, except in the synthesis courses.
    2. GTP students may be allowed by the Academic Dean to cross-enroll in another school, if necessary.
    3. ATEP students may enroll in the GTP, while a GTP student may enroll in the ATEP but only for making up a failure. Other cases are subject to the Academic Dean’s discretion.

    For foreign students
    1. They are required to present a degree equivalent in length and content to the four year A. B. or B. S. college program in the Philippines. They should be sufficiently proficient in English and have a satisfactory background in philosophy and theology.
    2. A photocopy of passport, ACR and missionary or student visa.

    For audit students
    1. Students may enroll as audit if they are not working towards a masteral degree but for the sole purpose of theological updating upon the permission of the Academic Dean.

    Program Shift to ATEP or GTP
    1. Students in the ATEP who apply to transfer to the GTP to undergo priestly formation can have thier courses credited in teh GTP provided one meets the additional requirements as decided upon by the Academic Dean and the professors concerned.
    2. Students in the GTP who apply for transfer to the ATEP can have their courses credited in the ATEP, provided a course shall have a grade of at least 2.00 if the student is aiming for MA.


    GRADUATE SCHOOL PROGRAMS
    Requirements

    Procedure
    1. A degree student is enrolled in a program towards a masteral degree while a non-degree student is enrolled as an academic requirement for the priesthood, or with an intention of updating oneself in theology and/or pastoral purposes. They can ber given certificates if requested.
