The
College of Technological Sciences – Cebu (CTSC) is a private higher educational institution in
Cebu City. It was established in 1950 as the
Cebu Technical School and is
a sister school of the University of Cebu. It initially offered one- and two-year courses in radio and auto technologies. As years passed, the technical school widened its programs and revised according to the demands in the industry. It was in 1977 when it provided its first college program, a five-year degree course in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
At present, CTSC offers undergraduate programs in the fields of
Automotive and Industrial Technology, Technical Teacher Education, and
Information Technology. It also has a Senior High School (SHS) program with various strands available from the
Academic and the
Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) tracks. True to its roots, the school provides a number of
TVET programs as recognized by
TESDA. Interested students can enroll in these technical courses, be assessed, and earn their
National Certificate (NC).
