Cotabato Foundation College of Science and Technology (CFCST), formerly Children’s Education Foundation Village, is a state college founded on June 1967 by a Muslim Princess Bai Hadja Fatima Matabay Plang, who was also the great founder of Mindanao Institute Technology (MIT) now University of Southern Mindanao (USM). It started as Junior High School in 1973 to cater the vocational and technical trainings needed by the high school students. By the virtue of RA 3801, CEFV was converted into established state college to be known as Cotabato Foundation College of Science and Technology.
CFCST provides undergraduate program in addition to the existing non-degree courses such as Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Bachelor of Science in Forestry, Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness, and other professional programs needed by the communities. At present, this Foundation College is offering post graduate programs
