You will undertake practical work in excellent facilities such as the on-campus TV studio, Western Independent newspaper and our community radio station, Curtin FM

This major allows you to incorporate studies in related areas, such as film and television, social sciences (international relations, history, sociology, anthropology) and other disciplines.

You will have the opportunity to undertake an industry placement in your final year.

Journalism is offered as part of the Bachelor of Arts. You can enhance your studies with a secondary major or choose from a range of elective units to support your career goals.

When coupled with Public Relations you can complete this major as part of our Bachelor of Arts or our Bachelor of Commerce. Your choice will determine your core units.

You can study this as part of a double major:

*Please note not all majors are offered online

High achieving students may complete an additional honours year enabling them to undertake their own significant research project.
