What the course involves:

The Tourism and Hospitality major will give you the knowledge and skills you need to become an effective manager in this industry in Australia and overseas.

You will study contemporary issues in tourism management, sustainable management of tourism, the impact of tourism on the local and global economy and the role of marketing in this industry.

The Public Relations major will teach you how to plan and develop effective communication strategies, and how to put your plans into action and measure their effectiveness. It will also prepare you for engaging with stakeholders, primary decision-making and managing relationships.

High achieving students may complete an additional honours year enabling them to undertake their own significant research project.
