The Asian Productivity Organization (APO) in cooperation with the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) as the National Productivity Organization (NPO) is currently running the above-cited course that started from 15 September 2016 until 14 February 2017 (5 months),
The course enables participants to know and understand the multifaceted nature of agribusiness and its management orientation in a globally connected business environment, identify strategic and operational agribusiness decisions that managers in Asia make and communicate as well as the ethical, social and governance challenges managers face, and apply the decision-making process in the various functional areas of agribusiness management using problem-based learning assignments.
Targeted participants, among others, include government officers and agricultural extension workers involved in assisting farm owners and producers, agriculturists, agribusiness/farm managers, consultants, academics and other technical personnel interested in the subject matter.
As the National Productivity Organization, the DAP is in charge of the coordination and promotion of the program at the local level. In this regard, the public is invited to avail of this FREE learning opportunity. Self-registration is open until 1 February 2017.
Successful passers will earn the opportunity to be invited in a follow-up face-to-face training in any of the 18 APO member countries co-sponsored by the APO (subject to qualification requirements and standards of the project).
