The
Divine Word College of Urdaneta (DWCU) is a private, Catholic school in
Pangasinan. It was founded by Rev. Fr. Augustine Herbers, SVD in 1967 and was established as an affiliated high school and college for the Minor Seminary in Urdaneta. Since its foundation, DWCU has been administered by the
Society of Divine Word Missionaries of the SVD. Aside from providing students with a strong foundation on Christian values, the school is also committed to developing graduates who actively contribute to nation-building and to addressing national and international issues.
At present, DWCU is a K-12 accredited institution. It has a Senior High School (SHS) department providing the
Academic Track. For college students, the school offers bachelor's degree programs in
Elementary and Secondary Education, Business Administration, and
Computer Science. The college and its programs are duly recognized by the Department of Education
(DepEd) and the Commission on Higher Education
(CHED).
