OBJECTIVES                                        
The BSN program desires to develop culturally- responsive nursing professionals advocating advanced nursing knowledge, ethical principles and clinical excellence consistent with Christian character traits and quality nursing education and practice. It aims to produce a fully functioning nurse who is able to perform the competencies
under each of the key areas of responsibility:
safe and quality nursing care, management of resources and environment, health education, legal responsibility,
ethico-moral responsibility, personal and professional development, quality improvement, research, records management, communication, and collaboration and teamwork.

Easter College: Upholding the Legacy of 1906 thru Transformative Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program
Fulfilling the mission to educate and heal, likewise the call to respond to the glocal demand for quality nurses, the Episcopal Church thru the Diocese of north Central Philippines, established the BSN program in year 2003.

Throughout its establishment, the EC-DON produced graduates who sustained excellent performance in the Philippine Nursing Licensure Examination. In 2007, the Philippine Nurses Association Regional Council (CAR & Region I) recognized Easter College for ranking number 2 in Region I and CAR, and number 10 nationwide in the June 2007 Philippine NLE in the 100 and more examinees category. Also, in year 2009, the same PNA Regional Council recognized Easter College for ranking number 9 nationwide in the November 2008 PNLE in the 39-99 examinees category. Since its first batch of graduates in 2007 up to the present date, EC-DON’s performance in the PNLE remained within the top 3 among schools of nursing within region CAR. Significantly, in the June 2012 PNLE, EC-DON’s graduate Mr. Rumell Nino S. Gaoaen ranked 8th overall.

Just recently, EC-DON’s graduate Ms. Romane Jasmin C. Manos was chosen as one of the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines in CAR (TOSP 2017).

Currently, the BSN Program continues to transform aspiring nurses through scripture-based, CHED recognized, and glocally comparable educational standards and guidelines.
