Eastern Samar State University - Can-Avid (ESSU - Can-Avid) is a public external campus operating under the
Eastern Samar State University system. The Can-Avid campus was initially established as a secondary school in 1961 that offers agricultural education for the people in the northern part of Eastern Samar.
At present, the Can-Avid campus mainly offers diploma, undergraduate, and graduate courses in
Agriculture and
Education. Its bachelor's degree in
Agriculture has different majors focusing on
Agroforestry, Horticulture,
Crop Science, and
Animal Science. While its
Elementary Education program has a focus on
General Science and its
Secondary Education program has majors in
Technology and Home Economics,
Social Science,
Mathematics, and
General Science. Further, a
diploma course in
Agriculture Technology is also open for admission.
