Eastern Samar State University - Salcedo (ESSU - Salcedo) is a public external campus operating under the
Eastern Samar State University system. The campus started in 1960 as an agricultural school and was originally known as the Southern Samar National Agricultural School.
Currently, the Salcedo campus has a diverse set of undergraduate and diploma programs offered under the fields of
Education,
Computer Science, and Agriculture, which has the
most number of programs under the campus. While its graduate and post-graduate studies programs are mostly composed of
Managemen, Education, Educational Management, and
Technical-Vocational Education courses.
And as a state university campus, the Salcedo campus is duly recognized and accredited by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
