Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute Of Science And Technology (EARIST) is a state college situated in the city of Manila. It was named after the Filipino senator Eulogio Rodriguez.

The school was founded in 1945, specifically after Manila’s liberation. EARIST first operated as a high school with a name Eulogio Rodriguez Vocational High School (ERVHS). At that time, the school only has one room and 147 students. It was first located on the second floor of Mapa High School.

By 1946, the college moved to Nagtahan, Manila, which is now its present location. Aside from having a campus in Manila, EARIST also has a campus in Gen. Mariano Alvarez, Cavite.

The development of the school became possible through the means of Republic Acts and a Presidential Decree that authorized certain changes. From ERVHS, the college was later called Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Memorial School of Arts and Trades (EARMSAT) because of Republic Act 5088. By 1972, Congressman Joaquin Roces sponsored Republic Act 6595, an act that converts the school to its present name. It officially became Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST) when President Ferdinand Marcos signed the Presidential Decree 1524 on June 11, 1978.
