Goldenstate College (formerly Goldenstate Institute) is a private educational institution in
South Cotabato. It started operations in 1992, offering
short term industrial courses. In its first year, it only had 160 students and 29 instructors. As these numbers increased over the years so did the institute's program offerings. By 2001, Goldenstate was offering a bachelor's degree course in Hotel and Restaurant Management and Commerce. It was the same year when the institute earned its college status. At present, GSC has campuses in
General Santos City, Koronadal City, and
San Pablo City, Laguna.
Goldenstate College General Santos City currently offers undergraduate programs in
Business and Management, Hotel and Restaurant Services, Pharmacy, Midwifery, Information Technology, Teacher Education, and
Liberal Arts. Additionally, the school has a Senior High School program, particularly providing selected strands in the
Academic and the
Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) tracks. Just like its starting years, GSC has
tech-voc courses available for students who wish to earn their
National Certificate (NC).
