The
Ifugao State University (IFSU) is a public university established in 1920 as the
Nayon Settlement Farm School (NSFS) by American Educators. Its main campus is in Lamut, Ifugao, while its satellite campuses are in the municipalities of
Potia,
Tinoc,
Aguinaldo,
Hungduan, and
Lagawe.
The university provides quality education and advanced instruction in
Accountancy, Agriculture, Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Criminal Justice Education, Public Administration, and
Social Sciences. The school offers distance education as well.
Throughout the years, IFSU has received acknowledgments from various institutions. In 2016, the Commission on Higher Education - Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR) has awarded the university with a
Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for its Elementary Education, Criminology, Information Technology and Secondary Education programs. It is given if a university has complied with the prescribed minimum requirements of CHED to offer the following academic programs.
